The Fifth Annual SONIC Conference.

ACEM ED Ultrasound Committee Demystified

Dr Nadi Pandithage is an Emergency Specialist based in Darwin for over 20yrs. Nadi grew up in the Northern Territory and has focussed her career on improving emergency medicine in the Top End. Nadi joined PoCUS enthusiasts late in her career when she noted that there was a deficit in PoCUS teaching and training in her region. After finishing numerous CCPUs, curiosity got the better of her and she then completed a Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound in Emergency Medicine! She is now the Chair of ACEM’s ED Ultrasound Committee, the Director of Emergency Ultrasound at RDH and PRH, and a passionate supporter of PoCUS teaching throughout Australasia for medical students through to specialists.
